WE ARE PRO TO BE CON!

What is currently happening in the world in terms of exploitation of man and nature is wrong, and we have lodged appeals. VETO! In future we will post articles, ideas and clips on this site dealing with social and political issues and give food for thought.

Without forgetting the joy of music, fun & content is also very well together, we think.

Our releases are not set on one style, the music ranges from folk, punk, jazz to hip hop / grime / electro.

AS LONG AS IT’S PUNK,
WE DON’T CARE!

Berlinska Dróha –
Čorna Dróha
(Black Street)
Mini LP (2015)

Limited to 400 in golden vinyl, 100 in black with special cover (price on request)

Berlinska Dróha (Berlin Street) and Čorna Krušwa (Black Pear) have become good friends through several Eastern European tours and rehearsed these five Berlinska Dróha songs together on the “Off-Days” and were played at the following concerts as encore bonbons. “Steinherz” even landed in the set list of Čornas.
These recordings are the result.

Otherwise Berlinska Dróha and Čorna Krušwa go their own ways. The bands have both Sorbian roots, so there are two songs in Sorbian.

This Mini Lp was recorded in an analog recording studio in the old GDR broadcasting complex in the Nalepastrasse in Berlin-Köpenick, the “switch room” where, among others, Stereo Total and the Beatsteaks have recorded. Produced by Smail Shock and Brüdi Sorbit.

Berlinska Dróha

Berlinska Dróha are Uta Šwejdźic and Paul Geigezähler. They combine self-penned songs with idiosyncratic interpretations of traditional songs and unusual instrumented rock music. Accompanied by violin and piano songs are sung in German and Sorbian. The band was formed in 2007 at a festival at the Polish border, where Uta Geiger counter with a concert from the audience sang out the Sorbian Folk Song „Palenc“. Shortly thereafter, a completely improvised spontaneous appearance in Berlin was followed by fish shop. Uta and Paul realized: It fits! Since touring Berlinska Dróha across the country and sometimes around the world. Concerts were and are held in very different places – from the Sorbian KØPI to museum, from Poland to Morocco. 2009 they released the vinyl single „Zrudny Končak“. „The delicate and well-written songs make this album […] to an absolute exception. I can not remember when was the last time I heard such beautiful music on a modern single.” (Jungle World, 10/02/2011)

More infos and news on the Facebook-page or at Wikipedia (in sorbian language!).

Atze Wellblech

„Only the strong survive!“

Atze Wellblech observe exactly what happens between humans and our society in our time. Whether the dismissal of workers because „Thiefery“ (as in their song „cement on shoes“) or the „psycho shit“ between the genders back and forth. Skuril they are – politically as well, but above all they are fun! Musically the two are situate between folk and punk with gypsy violin. A self-made double bass and a five-page-plus violin-viola the vocals of two artists create a distinctive sound. The duo (Friedrichshain meets Brandenburg Pampa) has been Germany, Switzerland and even Morocco (at the invitation of the Goethe Institut!) Recorded this summer and appears to increase. The album will be out in december 2013!

Atze Wellblech are: Geigerzähler (Geige/Gesang) & Hanz (Standbass/Gesang).
